| I've finally added pictures. This is the first update since the Fourth of July, so go check those out. I'm really quite proud of some of them, specifically this one of a bunch of firetrucks! Due to some recent spam comment postings and the relative lack of legitimate comments posted on pictures and blog entries, I'm debating shutting down all comments and instead replacing that with a ranking system. You will be allowed to rank each picture and blog entry you read on a 1-5 scale. Being the statistics nerd that I am, I'm sure I'd likely follow that up with "Highest Ranked" lists and things of that nature. Leave a comment on what you think of this idea. Or don't... I've also added a new selection of "Random Messages" to the bottom of the site; these appear directly above the copyright information. My recent update adds about 100 new messages to appear in this area, inching the total close to 3,000 different little factoids, puns, and other wastes of space.But, these new ones are quite a bit different from the old ones: they're Chuck Norris facts. Please, try to contain your excitement. Due to space limitations, the ones selected to appear at the bottom of the site cannot be any longer than 65 characters. This prevents about 1,500 of these little nuggets of information from appearing at the bottom of the site. This page displays five randomly-selected messages from the entire database, not just those 65 characters or less, including the 500+ Chuck Norris facts. Enjoy! |
