The holidays have come and gone and all in all, they were pretty darn good for me. For Christmas, I got the HP PSC 1350 All-in-One Printer/Scanner/Copier. A real cool feature are the four digital media readers built right in. I also got a dartboard, which was a surprise. That's not exactly something I would think someone would get me, but I've already enjoyed the crap out of the thing. Anna and I were treated to quite a scare starting Monday morning. Jacob started to cough and wheeze and couldn't catch his breath. After quite a bit of discussion, Anna decided to take him to the doctor, who then decided that Jacob needed to be admitted to the hospital. So, the three of us spent two nights in the Peds unit at Mercy Hospital. Jacob was released on New Years Eve. Got a phone call from my friend Andy who has joined the Air Force. He came to visit me on New Years Eve for quite a long time, until about 2:30 AM on New Years Day, if memory serves me correctly. I haven't seen Andy since the Summer; who knows when I'll see him next. He's going to be working on F-16's. How cool is that?! It seems like every time I put an entry in here, I have to mention that I'm going to get the blog up and running soon so I'm not talking to myself still. Well, I don't know when I'm going to get this damn thing launched. I used the blog system as a start point for the Pictures system. Since then, the Pictures system has grown into a well-oiled machine and has some bells and whistles that don't exist on this blog system. So, I might be taking the Pictures system and using it as a start point for the blog. Confused? Me too. You'd swear I was the government. |
