A group of senior citizens were exchanging notes about their ailments.
"My arm is so weak I can hardly hold this coffee cup."
"Yes, I know. My cataracts are so bad I can't see to pour the coffee."
"I can't turn my head because of the arthritis in my neck."
"My blood pressure pills make my dizzy."
"I guess that's the price we pay for getting old."
"Well, it's not all bad. We should be thankful that we can still drive!"

Boy, does this look nice. There are only 5 games to play for each the Cubs and Astros and the Cubs are in first place all by themselves. I'm still expecting them to choke... Primarilly because if I start to expect them to win, they'll lose. They've done that all season long. Every time I've though they should win, they've lost. Well, I firmly believe the Reds and Pirates will give the Cubs some fits coming up here. I'd rather the Cubs just blow them out, but it won't happen. Things will need to get too interesting for that.
A Cubs fan has to ask himself, "Could it get better?" Well, yes. Yes it can. How nice would it be if the Cubs clinched their playoff birth on the day Ron Santo's #10 is retired? And then went on the win the World Series? They should have retired Santo's number YEARS ago.
