I give up. I've been doing this list now for 4 and a half years and I've never gotten so little out of it. I don't feel like I'm doing anyone any good by sending jokes to all of you. I mean, I ask you guys to respond to me, give me some feedback, I get nothing. I ask you to recommend my little list to your friends and/or family, and I've only had a slight increase in "subscriptions".

So, after 4 1/2 years, I'm calling it quits. I've been doing this all for free all this time and it's starting to get expensive to continue that. I could start putting ads on the jokes to make some money, but then I'd just become a salesman for ad space, not a joke guy. That's not why I started this thing. I started it to spread a few smiles. I don't feel like I can do that anymore.

That commentary of mine last Monday was supposed to be funny. I had more than one person not realize that. I figured me just flat out telling the truth would be hilarious to at least someone. Unfortunately, no one caught that hint. I mean, I honestly feel like I have to do everything politically correct, and that's just not any fun!

So, go find another joke list. There are plenty of them out there.
